When it comes to preventing allergies, breastfeeding is the best choice, particularly if the baby is exclusively breastfed for the first six months. However, studies on the protective role of breastfeeding have produced conflicting results. To shed some light on this, GIFA is organising a Breastfeeding Afternoon on the theme ‘Food allergies in breastfed children, breastfeeding and allergies: current evidence’ with Marie Courdent, IBCLC, LLL Facilitator, DULHAM, Paediatric Nurse.

GIFA Breastfeeding Afternoon, Tuesday 2 June 2026, 12 noon–2 pm (online)

The training is free (20.- for a certificate of attendance).
